The February guild meeting will be held on Thursday, February 26^th at 7 pm and will be an "Old Tyme Quilting Experience". Three stations will present 3 old techniques, some of which may be new to you.  Please bring a needle, neutral thread, a pair of scissors, and a thimble if you use one.  Also bring with you a strip of 30's fabric 2 1/2 by 15" (OR enough fabric to make 6 – 2 ½ inch squares) AND one strip 2 1/2 by 10 which will be used for the sashing.  All other fabrics will be furnished.  Join in the fun and learn something new for 2009!  Any questions, call P.  We will also have election of officers.  The nominations committee has nominated Polly Stuckman for Vice President and Sandy Sedlmeier for Secretary.  If you would like to nominate any other guild member for these positions, first make sure you have their okay, then call or email Penny Groscost (penny0003@aol.com), by the 19th so their name can be put on the ballot.  In addition…..we will be signing up for committees, hostesses, and double checking addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. for the new roster book, AND begin collecting dues ($30.00) for the new year.
