Bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee, tea and dessert will be provided.

Amount of material needed. Does not include material for the border, backing and binding.

Queen Size- 84” x 96”   224 blocks (14 blocks by 16 blocks)
            light (main) color   1 ¾ yd- 44” width,  2 ¼ yd – 36” width
            dark  (or multiple) color  5 yd 44” width, 6 ¼ yd- 35” width or  quarters.  

             (Ten, each, ½ yd cuts 36” width or ten fat quarters)

Double Size- 78”x 84”  182   (13 blocks by 14 blocks)
              light (main) color   1 ½ yd- 44” width,  1 7/8 yd – 36” width
            dark  (or multiple) color  4 yd  44” width, 5 yd- 36” width or ( 8, each,  ½  

            yd cuts  44” width  or 8 fat quarters )                             

Single Size- 66” x 78”    143 blocks (11 blocks by 13 blocks)
             light (main) color   1 ¼  yd- 44” width, 1  5/8 yd – 36” width
            dark  (or multiple) color  2 yd  44” width, 2 ½  yd- 36” width or (8 ,each 1/3  

             cuts- 44in or 8 fat quarters)

Throw Size- 54” x 66”   99 blocks (9 blocks by 11 blocks)
               light (main) color    ¾ yds- 44” width,  1 yds – 36” width
            dark  (or multiple) color  1 ½ yd 44” width, 1 7/8 yd- 35” width or  (8

            each,  1/3  yd  cuts or 8 fat quarters)   

Borders are optional with this quilt. If you prefer borders, please cut them first from your material.

For a 6” border you need to cut 2 – 6 ½” strips times the length and 2- 6 ½ ” strips times the width.
Example:
            Queen – 6 ½” x 84 ½”
            Double- 6 ½” x 78 ½ “
            Single- 6 ½ “ x 66 ½ “
            Throw- 6 ½ “ x 54 ½ “

Cutting Directions

Cut 31/2" Squares from main color for the size of your project. (Queen etc.)

Cut 31/2" x 61/2" rectangles from dark or multiple colors for the size of your project. ( Queen etc.)
