How did you get started in quilting?
I did a quilt in high
school home ec class and after I moved to
Port Clinton I took several classes at the Acron Shop. At the
time I did not make any quilts but learned techniques. Dropped quilting
when I had kids. Picked it up again about 18 years ago.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
My daughters both are
intelligent, well rounded ladies with creative abilities that I hope
will lead them into quilting someday.

Have you ever put one of your quilted pieces in a quilt
show?
I have entered quilts
in numerous shows and have several ribbons for my efforts.

What was your worst quilting disaster?
Taking a class on
curved piecing with a special ruler. No one liked this class.

I do what appeals to
me. I don’t have anyone I prefer.

What creative endeavor do you plan to learn next?
No sure- I have tried
many avenues of creation already. I have many ideas that I want to do,
and will do if time lets me.

What advice would you give to someone starting out in
quilting?
Go for it and have
fun.
