1.    How did you get started in quilting?

I did a quilt in high school home ec class and after I moved to Port Clinton I took several classes at the Acron Shop. At the time I did not make any quilts but learned techniques. Dropped quilting when I had kids. Picked it up again about 18 years ago.

2.    What accomplishments are you most proud of?

My daughters both are intelligent, well rounded ladies with creative abilities that I hope will lead them into quilting someday.

3.    Have you ever put one of your quilted pieces in a quilt show?

I have entered quilts in numerous shows and have several ribbons for my efforts.

4.    Finish these sentences:

Time or lack thereof

5.    What was your worst quilting disaster?

Taking a class on curved piecing with a special ruler. No one liked this class.

6.    Which quilter’s work do you most admire and why?

I do what appeals to me. I don’t have anyone I prefer.

7.    What creative endeavor do you plan to learn next?

No sure- I have tried many avenues of creation already. I have many ideas that I want to do, and will do if time lets me.

8.    What advice would you give to someone starting out in quilting?

Go for it and have fun.
