How did you get started in
quilting?
I
worked at a
Minnesota Fabric store in the 1980’s and my co-workers were hand
quilters. They were more than willing to share their craft.

What accomplishments are you most proud
of?
Piecing a queen size log cabin.

Yes,
it won second place in collaborative.

How did you get started in quilting?
My
former sister-in-law asked me to help her make a friendship quilt for my
sister. That got me started and then a few years later I checked around
for a quilt guild so that I could learn more. I ended up joining the
Ohio Star Quilters!

What accomplishments are you most
proud of?
The
t-shirt quilt I made for my son with many of his swimming t-shirts. It
is huge and he loves it.

pieces in a quilt show?
A
quilted jacket in the first Ohio Star Quilt Show.

My
first appliqué square that I did for someone. It was a mess and I just
didn’t know what to do at the time. I shed a few tears over that square!

I
would like to learn rug hooking.

Don’t be afraid to ask fellow quilters for help or advice.
