  1. How did you get started in quilting?

I had a friend, Elaine, who lives in the UP of Michigan teach me the basics of quilting long distance over the phone. After talking to Elaine, I decided to take a class in Sandusky.

  1. What accomplishments are you most proud of?

·         That both of my kids are employed and happy.

·         That I am well on my way to making quilts for all of my nieces and nephews.

  1. Have you ever put one of your quilted pieces in a quilt show?

Yes –I had a quilt in a show down in Columbus for the bicentennial. I also entered a quilt into a show in Tiffin.

  1. What was your worst quilting disaster?

Having Prince, my dogs scratch and chew holes into a complete quilt.

   6.  Which quilter’s work do you most admire and why?
I think I like Eleanor Burns because she makes quilting easier for people.  Her projects are easy so that people don’t get discouraged when they are working on them.

   7. What creative endeavor do you plan to learn next?
I would like to learn how to fleet.

   8. What advice would you give to someone starting out in quilting? \I would tell them to use their own imagination and originality.
